Transformative Autoethnography for Practitioners

In this award-winning book, I along with my authors turn the spotlight on autoethnography as a tool for practitioners where the primary goal is to solve real world problems by facilitating transformational change at the individual, group and/or organizational levels.  This book can be used by those within and outside the academy, by business and life coaches, organizational consultants, diversity equity and inclusion experts, educators, organizational leaders, pastors, youth leaders, individuals interested in self-study and/or self-coaching and on and on..

Collaborative Autoethnography

This book provides a practical step-by step guide for those interested in collaborative autoethnography–the art of self-study in community. You will learn about a variety of data collection, analytic, and writing techniques to conduct collaborative projects. Model collaborative autoethnographies and writing prompts are also included in the appendixes. This in-depth resource will be your virtual mentor and coach guiding you in the exploration of this deeply introspective approach to qualitative methods.

Waiting by the Brook

This is the book that I am most proud of to date. It is part memoir and devotional all in one.  In Waiting by the Brook, I enter into a a very real conversation with readers about what it means to wait on God during difficult seasons in our lives. Beginning with the experience of the Prophet Elijah, but also drawing heavily from the accounts of other Bible characters as well as my own experiences, I show how waiting on God is critical to our deepening relationship with Him. It is through the experience of waiting patiently on Him that we are best positioned to receive the most customized gifts that God eagerly wants to give us.

Waiting by the Brook Journal

This guided journal was created to accompany your reading of the book, Waiting by the Brook: Seven Steps to Deeper Intimacy With God. It can also be used as a standalone journal for anyone interested in a deeper study into what it means to wait on God during the dark chapters of our lives. Each chapter installment features—inspirational quotes, scriptural passages for mediation, thoughtful writing prompts, lots of room to write your own notes and prayers, and a blank page for doodling or creative journaling.
